Why Use a Custom Domain?
A custom domain lets your clients access the portal using your own URL (e.g., portal.yourfirm.com) instead of the default Milemarker URL. This reinforces your brand and provides a seamless experience for clients.

Setup Process
Choose Your Subdomain
Decide on your custom subdomain (e.g., portal.yourfirm.com, client.yourfirm.com, or wealth.yourfirm.com). The subdomain must be on a domain you own.
Contact Success Manager
Notify your Success Manager of your desired custom domain. They will provide you with DNS configuration details.
Configure DNS
Add a CNAME record in your domain's DNS settings pointing to the Milemarker server. Your IT provider or domain registrar can help with this.
SSL Certificate
Milemarker will automatically provision an SSL certificate for your custom domain to ensure secure HTTPS access.
Verification & Go Live
Once DNS propagates and the SSL certificate is active, your custom domain will be live. This typically takes 24-48 hours.
